The Discovery Program of IL LLC is an organization committed to reaching Chicago and it's western suburbs with solutions for people who struggle to learn. Students may or may not have an official diagnosis, such as a learning disability. They may be one or more grade levels behind or may have other conditions causing learning issues. We offer a variety of academic and cognitive programs that are designed to create independent learners. We also offer workshops to better enable parents and teachers to understand struggling learners and the issues surrounding them.

Tools to help you learn

Learning Disabilities can be devastating not only for the student, but for the families as well. Children come into this world eager to learn and absorb information at astounding rates. Unfortunately, when a learning disability is present these very bright students cannot demonstrate their potential. They end up frustrated, feeling stupid, and ultimately failing.

There are other stumbling blocks to learning, which are not diagnosable learning disabilities but are just as potentially educationally devastating. This group would include students classified as ADHD, slow learners, as well as gifted students with high IQ's but who are unable to perform at that level. Parents are often aware that their child is capable of so much more than they can demonstrate in a classroom. Our goal is to partner with parents to enable their child to go as far as they can, with as few obstacles as possible. Helping people reach their learning potential is the goal of learning development..
